Eurasier owners and fanciers in the Eurasiers country of origin, Germany, made it a tradition to organize meetings and Eurasier walks to enjoy each others company and to give the dogs the opportunity to romp and play with one another. Often as much as 30 dogs can be seen off leash peacefully hiking with their owners. North American owners started the same tradition, attend meetings and organize smaller walks closer to home of travel as far as 14 hours and more to enjoy themselves at bigger Eurasier gatherings, such as the yearly one in Marmora, Ontario, Canada.
